REVIEW: GLENN BECK'S AN INCONVENIENT BOOK

The Glenn Beck program, the third most listened to radio show in the country, has long been known as not your typical conservative radio show. What has endeared Mr. Beck to listeners is his unflinching desire to tell the truth as he sees it, his sticking up for traditional American values, and his stance that there is no issue that should be decided right or left, just right or wrong. What makes his latest work, “An Inconvenient Book”, so remarkable is how easily he is able to capture the feeling of listening to his radio show within its pages.

HILLARY 2008: A NEW LOW

Hillary in Bosnia

It’s unfortunate that politicians never speak plainly or directly, especially when it concerns a mistake. Obama’s dance around the statements made by his pastor is a recent example. Obama doesn’t agree with what his pastor said, but won’t condemn the statement. Perhaps it’s just politicking, but it’s an unfortunate commentary on our political landscape when we can’t expect anything better.

It’s in this light that we find Hillary’s recent fairyland reconstruction of her trip to Bosnia particularly disheartening.

Chief Justice John Roberts asked, “What is reasonable about a total ban on possession?” Alan Gura, a lawyer representing a Washington citizen challenging the ban stated, “It’s unreasonable and it fails any standard of review.”

IT'S FUN WATCHING AS THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY DESTROYS ITSELF

atom_blast.jpg

The fight between Obama and Hillary is getting nastier and nastier by the day. Republicans should rejoice as these two powerhouses of the Democratic Party, one supposedly representing the new spirit of the party, the other undoubtedly representing the failed policies of the 1990s, pull out the political nukes against each other. This means less money and less credibility for the eventual Democratic nominee in November’s general election.

Many of you are well enough off that the tax cuts may have helped you. We're saying that for America to get back on track, we're probably going to cut that short and not give it to you. We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good,
